Nasi and Mee, Whitefield

Nasi And Mee Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

South Asian street food is renowned around the world and Nasee and Mee bring it to our plate locally! Nasi and mee translate to ‘rice and noodles’ but this place is way more. They have a carefully crafted menu with visually stunning and classic food being served. The menu is inspired by Singapore, Malaysian, Indonesian and Chinese cuisine and it truly does justice to your palette.

The restaurant itself is located in VR Mall and is playfully decorated with an assortment of soothing colors and stunning wall arts across. The playfulness of the design works well with the menu and compliments the cuisine it aims to serve. You shall be greeted with smiling faces of the servers who know the menu and would be happy to guide you to order the correct dishes.

We wanted to break our routine of ordering the tried and tested Thai dishes and decided to do some experimentation with food we had never tried before! We ordered the Honey Chilli Lotus Stem, Schezuan Chilli Dumplings, Tofu Satay, and X.O. Noodle Soup. We sure did the right thing by not going for the traditional run of the mill Asian dishes. We were truly surprised by the chilli lotus stem – succulent, full of flavor and surprisingly addictive. The tofu satay was avoidable though, nothing great about it, found it bland. Chilli dumplings were great, full of chilies and roasted sauces and spices – a replica of what you would get on the Asian food street. The X.O. noodle soup was nice – spicy clear broth with vegetables and noodles, cooked to perfection. Overall , quite happy with the food served!
