Byg Brewski is the best brewery in town! Period. The variety and quality of brews and drinks available here are best not only in Bengaluru but across the country. Although we did try some of the drinks, there is no way of trying all the available options – there are way too many and there is very less time. What did we try?
- Citrus Whisper: Vodka, fresh orange, passion fruit, apple and cranberry juice.
- Satan’s Sour: Pineapple, orgreat and nutmeg and aperol.
- Hope: Martini Bianco, Ginger honey syrup, saline, lemon juice, mint leaves. Curated by Rohan Matmary, this drink has been recognized as Bacardy Legacy!
- The beer taster: Byg Wit, Byg Lager, Byg Rauch, Byg Tripel, Byg Stout, Byg Ella, Byg Bee.
What we ate?
Food was amazing! As mentioned before, the global cuisine dishes coming out of their kitchen can complete with the best of the kitchens in the country. This is specifically true for the effort by the management and the team present at location. I could not point out to any missing ingredient in any of the dishes. This is a big compliment considering they had over 1000 guest when we were dining there. Consistency, flavor and love are all present and visible the moment you enter the restaurant. From serving water to serving desserts, there is not a single dull moment in the overall experience. It is not only about food, it really is the experience which makes all of us love this place!
- Karari Roti: Wafer thin crispy romali roti with masala! Probably the highlight of the experience.
- Sit fried beef chilli: Wok tossed with capsicum, onion, soy and chilli.
- Naga Pork Baos: Fresh steamed open face baos with stir fried pork , naga chillis, coriander and garlic.
- Garden City Pizza
- Grilled mushrooms
- Mutton Sheek Kababs
- Tres Leches: Latin American three milk cake.
Location – The restaurant is located in Hennur – which is the hub for the migrated crowd of Bengaluru and houses people from all across the country. Perfect place for an infusion bar to be. Parking is not an issue and even visibility. The largest place in the city – people will flock to this bar from all around!
Ambiance – The interiors are carefully done with a chic and modern look which goes well with the kind of food they serve. It’s a multilevel restaurant with place to sit both inside and outside. An option for everyone. The bar counter is amazing as well!
Staff – The staff tried their best to make every order fulfill in time.
Food – The food was awesome. I can’t complaint here. Every dish had a unique twist to it. This makes the restaurant stand out from the other options available.
Drinks – Huge collection and variety. The bar tenders are more than capable to handle a large crowd without compromising the quality. They do have some new drinks on the menu which everyone would be head over heels for.
Value for Money – Little on the higher side. But considering the experience, I would definitely call the place a value for money. No issues here.
What’s good? Hope. Tres Leches. Karari Roti.
What’s bad? Personally. nothing at all.
